Non-silicone prostheses are often the first breast form recommended after some surgeries and sometimes can be worn while recovering. A non-silicone prosthesis is generally worn during leisure time, for swimming and for exercise. They are much lighter in weight than a silicone breast prosthesis and an essential part of your breast form wardrobe.
Most non-silicone forms are made of foam and are rigid. Others are made of fiberfill. There is also a non-silicone form (shown) that is filled with micro-beads that moves with your body and mimics the movement of a natural breast. These are also lightweight forms used for swimming, exercising and leisure wear. When you use this as a swim, it mimics the natural movement of an existing breast so when you lie down, it lies down too!
